NetConference
Tele Conferencing has since long been recognized as a cost effective way to have long distance meetings take place thus largely reducing travel cost. Most conference systems today however involve administration both for the enterprise and for a Service Provider.
Typically an access number and a pin code is supplied to all conference members and a preset time for the conference call is set when all participants dial in to enter the conference.
With NetConference the establishment of a conference call can be done instantaneously by any member of the conference group either by clicking an internet link or by calling the preset access number allocated to the conference group thus largely increasing the flexibility by which conferences can be administered. A service provider can hence allow enterprises to maintain their means of conference.
The NetConference solution support three different conferencing modes:
The Dial-2-Conference or Group Call (GPC) allows a moderator to call a predefined access-number and have the service connect all end-users associated with this number into the conference.
The Click-2-Conference (C2C) feature works similar to the Group Call in the way that the service automatically connects all participants. However in contrast to Group Calls, the C2C calls up all users – including the moderator. This feature can therefore be used for scheduled meetings.
The Meet-Me-Conference is a traditional conference where all participants are given an access number to dial. On dialling the access number participants enter the conference.
